The True Blood ad campaign really was a hoot - the new ads, however, are less eye-catching, primarily because of their lack of a focused narrative. The two thus far are "VILF" and a coffeemaker with blood in the pot. If I was working on the TB account, I'd focus on the idea of kitchen and home appliances/tools with blood on them.
A toothbrush, a blender, a glass with a set of fanged dentures soaking in blood - powerful images that would play with how we interpret this vampire dream world. You're either the vampire, consuming people, or you're someone living with the vamp.
