Pedigree: Pass it on
I just came across this interesting work for the Pedigree Adoption drive, which uses youtube smartly. For every view of the video, they donate £1, which in itself is a reason to pass it on. However the number of views is also linked to getting more content. It is a film in which the ending is affected every 25,000 views. What a great way to ensure people return to your content, and pass it on.Keep an eye on the Youtube page for more.

Hi Book of Revelations Team,
Sorry about the deletes, I had a couple of formatting issues.
I just wanted to thank you for your support for our 2010 Adoption Drive campaign. The first episode of Charlie’s story on YouTube has hit 25,000 views and the next step in the story has been released (http://www.youtube.com/wearefordogs). When the combined number of views for episode 1 and 2 hits 50,000 we’ll be able to unlock episode 3.
Our activity has also expanded into the offline world where thousands of ‘Ghost Leads’ were created and distributed around the UK, each one bearing the message: ‘Every hour, one abandoned dog disappears forever’. These all-white leads are inspired by the now iconic Ghost Bikes, and each one gives details of how to donate to the Pedigree Adoption Drive by SMS or online.
Several large skips were placed around major UK cities, each one a representation of the number of dogs put down each week in the UK.
Images of both the Ghost Leads and the Skips can be found on our Flickr channel: http://www.flickr.com/photos/wearefordogs.
Thanks again for your continued support.
Janet
